Jacob Elordi, best known for his role as Nate Jacobs in the HBO series “Euphoria,” recently filed for and received a temporary restraining order against Robert Dennis Furo, who he claims has been stalking and harassing him. In court documents obtained by TMZ, Elordi detailed several instances of unwanted advances from Furo, including gifts and visits to his home.
On February 5, Elordi arrived home to discover a bag of pastries hanging on his gate. Shortly thereafter, Furo appeared in his backyard, professing his love for Elordi and insulting his appearance. Elordi ordered him to leave and called the police. Several weeks later, Furo returned to Elordi’s backyard, leaving flowers, candy, and a note requesting that Elordi call him.
Elordi expressed concern that Furo might be capable of tracking his whereabouts and monitoring his home. He claimed that he had never met or communicated with Furo before and was puzzled about how the man had obtained his address. He referenced a filing indicating that Furo is the same individual who broke into Nicolas Cage’s residence without clothing in 2007. Elordi also noted that Furo has expressed his affection for him on social media, causing him to fear that his behavior may escalate.
The judge issued a temporary restraining order prohibiting Furo from coming within 100 yards of Elordi, his home, car, or place of employment. Elordi is currently working on a film and is afraid to return home due to Furo’s behavior. Furo has a criminal record and was accused of breaking into Nicolas Cage’s home in 2007.
