Cole Sprouse Bares All On “Call Her Daddy” Podcast

Cole Sprouse, known for his role as Jughead Jones in “Riverdale,” recently appeared on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, where he discussed his personal life and experiences.

Sprouse shared that his early fame from Disney Channel was a “golden ticket” for his family financially, but it made it difficult for him to trust and be emotionally vulnerable in relationships. He also talked about how he lost his virginity at 14 to a stranger, which led him on a path of serial monogamy.

Sprouse also opened up about his highly publicized relationship with his “Riverdale” co-star Lili Reinhart, admitting that it was difficult to work together after their breakup and caused emotional damage to both of them. He said they leaned on each other to navigate the public split and didn’t make a big deal about announcing it quickly. Sprouse also shared that public pressure was a reason the relationship lasted as long as it did and that he should have been more selfish in that situation.

In the podcast, Sprouse revealed that he and his twin brother Dylan were “f-ing d’s” in elementary and middle school, and Dylan was a bully who would beat up other kids. Cole became known as the twin who would apologize for Dylan’s behavior. Dylan previously admitted in a 2020 interview that he was mostly a bully due to issues at home, but he became a better person in a nurturing environment. Cole confirmed that their personalities were similar to their characters in “Zack & Cody,” and the show’s writers took cues from their actual personalities.

Cole and Dylan Sprouse became Hollywood stars at the age of six after sharing the role of Adam Sandler’s son in “Big Daddy” in 1999. They also starred in the Disney Channel sitcom “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody” from 2005 to 2008. Sprouse said that booking the show was “life-saving” for the twins because it provided stability after a tumultuous custody battle between their parents. Both Sprouse twins took a break from acting to attend New York University in the early 2010s, with Cole studying humanities and archaeology, and Dylan studying video game design.

Despite the twists and turns in his life, Sprouse maintains that he wouldn’t change anything and doesn’t regret his decisions. His appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast provided a glimpse into his personal life, childhood, and early career.
